So delicious and nutritious (as always). And easy! 2 cups COOKED OR STEAMED squash, pumpkin, or sweet potato 1/2 cup hemp seeds (see variations below) 4-5 cups water 1 tsp fresh ginger 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder Sea salt & black pepper to taste Optional, but recommended if you can digest it: 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp onion 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper Variations: -Hemp seeds is preferred for a complete, creamy, plant protein source. If you don't have them, use: -1/2 cup almonds instead -or 2 tbsp almond butter instead -or 1 tbsp tahini + 1 tbsp chia seeds instead
Blend till super creamy. Top with shredded veggies, sprouts, or chopped nuts, or seeds of your choice. Or drizzle with olive oil or sprinkle with paprika.
